Probably.  But you'll want to speak to your employer before you assume it is a mistake.  If it is, you will want to ask them to issue a corrected W-2 with the correct state information.  Unless you live in Alabama, there is probably no reason why Alabama taxes would have been taken out, unless there is a mistake on the reporting end of some sort.
