Any tips on getting returns downloaded and printed without it taking hours and having to prevent the system from logging out every 15 minutes?

Yes, if you are done with your tax returns, you can print them three different ways and none of them should even take an hour.

The easiest way to print your return after you are done, is from Tax Home.

  1. Sign in to the same account you used to prepare your taxes.
  2. Find your tax return status on the screen.
  3. Select Download/print return (PDF) on the right to print or save a copy.

You can also print from the Print Center:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Open your return by selecting My Info, then Edit.
  3. Select Tax Tools from the left-side menu, then Print Center.
  4. Select Print, save or preview this year's return at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Select Pay Now on the next screen and follow the prompts to pay and print or save a copy of the return.

The third way to print is in the Finish & File section, but it takes the most time.

  1. Select Finish & File.
  2. Continue until you are asked if you want to print your return before you file it.
  3. Answer Yes, and follow on-screen instructions.
