Amended federal return.

I filed my federal return before I decided to, and made Roth IRA contributions.  Since the Roth contributions had no effect on my taxes, do I still need to file an amended return?

And, I have not yet filed my state (Missouri) return.  Do I need to file an amended return for it also, or just the initial return?

You may want to see if you can open the return to enter the Roth info to make sure it's fully allowed. if so no amended return is required and you can then proceed to efile Mo.
