All I needed is the injured spouse form not the innocent spouse. It keeps making me do innocent spouse and i don't need it.

You will need to click through several questions for Form 8857 Innocent Spouse before getting to Form 8379 Injured Spouse Allocation.  Here are the steps to get to Form 8379:

·         Sign into your account and click Take me to my return

·         Search Injured Spouse (upper right of program) and click the Jump to link from results

·         The first question you come to will say "Do you want to claim innocent or injured spouse relief?" Answer Yes and click Continue (click on screenshot below for more detail)

·         On the next screen, the last question asked is "First, enter the years that you're seeking innocent spouse relief."  Click Continue ( see screenshot below for details)

·         On the next screen "Your Request For Innocent Spouse Relief" click Continue (see screenshot below)

·         The next screen Let's See if You Qualify for Injured Spouse Relief is where you begin entering the information for Form 8379 Injured Spouse Allocation. (see screenshot below)
