After the Amer. Rescue Plan, my return increased (unemployment tax credit). The next time I logged in, without making any changes, it decreased by $765. What happened?

Both changes (increase to refund and decrease to refund) happened automatically without any adjustments being made on my end. I'm curious why it decreased for no reason? Could this just be a glitch or am I missing something?

I entered my 2023 Iowa state 529 contribution in the adjustments to income section and my refund decreased. It should increase the refund not decrease it.
