2023 Premier download software glitch?

In the Wages and Income section, Dividends /Interest work area, a widow appears asking the question “In what state is the tax exempt dividends-interest from?"

I incorrectly entered a state  in the window provided whereas the correct answer should have been,  “My 1099-DIv doesn’t have a state listed”.   The software won’t let me go back and clear the selected state window of any state entry {i.e. blank out the window} and make the correct entry.

Am I missing a procedure or is this a software glitch?

No, you can go back and correct your answer. Here's how to do that:

1. Open your return.
2. Select Federal, then Wages & Income.
3. Scroll down to Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto), select Start or Revisit to the right.
4. Select the down arrow to the right of the 1099-DIV in question, then Edit. 
5. Continue until you get to Tell us more about your exempt-interest dividends.
6. You can change your answers here.
