See "I received a "Commission and Bonus" ... Melaleuca member. Is this taxable income?" I'm in the same boat. Where do I report this in TT without a W-2 or 1099?

How much was the "Commission and Bonus" and did you receive cash or credit on purchases?

If the amounts you received were based on your purchases of Melaleuca products, then they are not taxable income - they would be non-taxable rebates on personal purchases.

If they were bonuses and commissions for selling Melaleuca products, you can report them as taxable income on  Line 21, Form 1040 as "Other Income".

Form 1040 is not available in the TurboTax Free Editions, so you would have to upgrade to a paid version of TurboTax (Premier).

To make entries on Line 21, use the Other Reportable Income interview. Enter "other reportable income" in the Search Box and select "jump to other reportable income". These payments are NOT wages.
