1099K for "rent"

Below market rent was paid using Venmo tagged as "goods as services." Since it was below market does that mean it's not actually rent and shouldn't be tagged that way? If so, does that mean I click the box stating that the whole amount is too high and includes personal transactions? Also, when people say below market rent does not need to be reported, do they mean not reported as income at all or just not reported as rent?

Below market rent is assumed to be renting the house not-for-profit.  The income is reported as 'Other Income' and is taxed at your normal rate.  The expenses that are allowed are mortgage interest and property taxes and you can take those on schedule A if you itemize deductions.
