1099-NEC QuickBooks Self-Employed Online with TurboTax

Hi everyone,

I am trying to avoid the error I had last year.

Last year I used the automatic transfer from QuickBooks to TurboTax. I needed to enter a 1099-NEC that represented the income and had to delete the schedule C and manually enter everything, as it was double counting the income.

How do I avoid that this year?

Enter the Form 1099NEC Manually.

Select Start or Review/Edit under Wages & Income. You can enter a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC in one of two sections: Select Other Common Income, and tap Form 1099-NEC or Form 1099-MISC. Select Self-Employment (if this applies), and tap Self-employment income and expenses.
