1099-nec filing forms as payer

I efiled about 20 forms before the deadline on 1/31 and the status showed e file processing in orange on all of them. On 2/1 I had two more to file and I completed and efiled and showed the same status. This morning I received  3 emails, one showing that first 20 I submittted had just been sent to irs on 2/2 and that the other 2 I sent on 2/1 had been sent on 2/1 and accepted on 2/1. Why are my originals still showing being sent and why did it change the date from when I actually efiled them? Is this going to cause me a penalty for each?

There are some serious efile headaches at the IRS at this point.  They haven't released any details or explained any of them but they do appear to be clearing.  I wouldn't think that they would be planning on sending out any penalty notices for late filing at this point but who knows?  document the dates that you submitted and they were processed and accepted so that you will be able to argue if they send you any notices.
