I am trying to enter rental income received from a property located in a foreign country and used 1099 Misc form. It is asking for EIN number for the tenant who is a foreigner and doesn't have EIN. I am unable to file the tax return.
Is 1099 Misc right form?
Is there a way to bypass EIN or 1099 Misc?

When you enter your rental income, you can choose the option "Other income not on a 1099-MISC or 1099-K etc...) to enter it. You will not be asked to provide the payor information or federal ID number:
Ok, thank you!
