If you are not being claimed as a dependent on your parent's return, you will need to include Form 1095-A in your return and claim the portion of the Policy premium that belongs to you. You can ask your parents what percentage of the policy they claimed on their return. If they claim 100% of the policy, you will enter all the information as shown on the 1095-A and indicate you shared the policy with someone else, and claim 0% on your end.
If your parents have not filed their return, you can come to an agreement on what percentage you want to claim and allocate it on your return. Your parents will then allocate their percentage on their return. If you cannot come to an agreement, you can just divide the policy equally.
