If there was income or tax withheld reported on the form, you should prepare an amended return to see if there was any change in your tax or refund. If not, then you don't need to file the amended return. You should wait until your tax return is processed and you receive your refund if you are due one before you prepare the amended return. If you used Sprintax to file a non-resident form 1040-NR, there should be an option in that program to prepare an amended return.

If you used TurboTax to prepare a Form 1040, you will see an option to do that on your home page when you log into TurboTax. Look at the bottom of the page, under Your Tax Return and Documents. Click on the year you want to amend and choose the Amend (Change) option.

I forgot to mention that I am a resident and I used TurboTax to file the taxes.

There is a gross income of $2. Under which form should I enter it in TurboTax?

You don't need to report it if the income is only $2, it will have a negligible affect on your income tax. It would be entered in the Less Common income section of TurboTax, then Miscellaneous Income.
