Would I lose the numbers I entered in itemized deduction if I try switch to standard?

I am comparing which way is better. but I don't want to do it again if I decide to go itemized.

TurboTax will automatically calculate which is better for you, the standard deduction or itemized deductions.  Go ahead and enter all your itemized deductions into the program.  If your itemized deductions don't exceed your standard deduction, TurboTax uses the standard deduction for your taxes.
