Wife has a baking business but doesn't drive.

Hi all, my wife has a small baking business but doesn't drive. I do all her running around for her supplies and all the deliveries for her. I don't get paid for it either. I use a driving app to capture all the kms used for her business. Can I claim these kms as per the app and maintenance for the vehicle I use??

I do have a hauling business as a sideline. So my question is can I use my business to claim kms driving for her business??.

I'm asking because I go through roughly 5000 to 6000 dollars a year in gas just on her business.

Thanks for the help.

The mileage on the car is what is deductible.  Who is driving is irrelevant.  So you can deduct the mileage but if you're driving for her business then it needs to be deducted on her business, not yours.  You aren't driving for your business.
