why there is no separate input area for State estimated tax

On the desktop software, go to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.

Then click on Start for Estimates.

On the screen that reads "Estimated Taxes", go down to "State estimated taxes for 2023".

In the subsequent interview, you can enter your state estimated taxes.

The Online product may vary in terms of terminology, but the general flow show be similar. If you can't find it, come back and ask.
