Why isn’t turbo tax allowing me to put in property taxes paid. Says they need more information but no where to put more information.

I add the amount and keep coming back to we need more information and I add the numbers again and it says again they need more information it’s insane is it a glitch

On the federal return, that is entered under

Deductions & Credits 

Your Home 

Property Taxes   START or UPDATE 

If the property tax is listed on Form 1098, don't report that in the program if you are getting an error, just leave the box from 1098 blank and enter the taxes paid the way listed above. 

Is this tax paid on something other than your home? 

Are you trying to enter the tax some other way?
