The casualty loss is not showing on your tax refund most probably because it is below the threshold or because you do not have enough itemized deductions and are using the standard deduction.

The first $100 of loss is not tax-deductible, but the remainder of the loss is tax-deductible only to the extent that it exceeds 10% of your adjusted gross income.
