Why doesn't the mortgage interest deduction amount that I put in match that amount on line 10?

The mortgage interest deduction that I put in from 1098 is more than what it is showing on line 10 of itemized deduction.  How come?

If you claim a home office deduction, and entered the full amount of your mortgage interest in that section, part of your mortgage interest is included in the Home Office deduction, and the remainder reported on Schedule A, Itemized Deductions. 

If this is not the case, check your Mortgage Interest entry.
