Where’s my federal refund???

I’m checking the track your federal refund tool and it promised me my $1,849 federal refund on March 23rd. They only sent me $282!!!!!! IT IS NOW MArch 24th and I STILL DONT HAVE MY FEDERAL REFUND ITS STILL SAYING ESTIMATED RETURN ON THE 23rd of march! I NEED MY FEDERAL REFUND IM OWED IMMEDIATELY!

Refund inquiries can only be handled by the IRS.  TurboTax is not included in corrections, updates or issuing refunds.  You prepare your return using TurboTax and submit your returns to the IRS and State for processing.  TurboTax does not receive any status updates or information about your return from the  IRS.  

However, all is not lost, you will receive a notice of adjustments from the IRS in a few weeks.  You will be allowed to address any discrepancies at that time.

We have seen several cases where the IRS is making adjustments to returns because of not reporting your Stimulus payments accurately or the Advanced Child Tax Credit.  So, please contact the IRS for any updates on your refunds.
