Where do I add the homeowners insurance?

Home owners insurance for your primary residence is not deductible.

Mortgage insurance (sometimes called PMI) is something different.  It was deductible through December 31, 2016.  It is not deductible on your 2017 tax return.  See this:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901171-can-i-deduct-mortgage-insurance-pmi-or-mip

Note: If this is an inherited home, you will be able to deduct the property taxes on the home.
