Where do I deduct my school taxes and homeowners insurance?
If your school taxes were assessed on the value of your property, you can deduct on schedule A as property taxes. Homeowner's insurance on a personal residence is not deductible.
- In your open return, select My Account
- Tools
- Topic Search
- Type 'property tax' in the box, then select GO
