We sold our house, my boyfriend is claiming that and I received 20000.00 from it, how do i file that?

If you sold your primary home, and it was never a rental property, you have no gains to report if your profit on the sale was less than 250K, and you lived in the home for two of the last five years.  You don't have to enter anything about the sale on your tax return.
