W2 Box 12 Category W shows excess HSA contribution in CA tax filing, how can I adjust this as I'll be withdrawing the excess HSA contribution.

You can make an adjustment to exclude the excess contribution on TurboTax can do it for you.   To do this:

1. Open your Return
2. In the search bar, search for HSA and select the Jump to link in the search results
3. Work through the interview until you get to "You may want to withdraw money from your HSA"
4. Check the box for "I'll withdraw the full excess contribution by April 15." This will remove the excess and the associated penalty
