Under Deductions & Credits, then Medical Expenses, a dollar amount is shown ($7428). However, I've entered NO medical expenses for 2017. Why is this amount appearing?

Most likely they are Medical Insurance premiums listed on a 1099-R, SSA-1099, 1095, etc.
