Tax Year Prior to 2020: Form 8936 (2019)

I'll wait until 2/12 and if Form 8936 is not finally available then TT has lost another customer after many years of using this program. Poor performance, TT.

Oh yeah...you are right.   Thought about it a bit more and said screw it...I am not waiting anymore.    In the time since I posted  I went to H&R, created an account, input all the info, and filed.  Irs already accepted.  Turbotax really dropped the ball on this one.

Don't bother, they won't have it up. It's getting busy every day for the IRS and validating electronic forms is not their priority.  It will be another month before TB gets it done.

Tomorrow is the eleventh but Tuesday is the twelfth and if not form 8936 by then, I am off to HR Block.

Updates to the online versions are normally done off hours at night so when it says 2/12 don't expect it until close to midnight.   Check on the 13th.

For those saying you are moving to H&R Block -- did you install an EV charger in your home?  Because there is a 30% tax credit for that, on form 8911.  HR Block has no plans to support that form at all.  TurboTax is supposed to have it ready 2/20.

I'm pretty frustrated with the delay.  I did my taxes on HR Block, and had to switch to TT when I found out that 8911 was only on TT.   The availability date for that form keeps getting pushed back as well.

Form 8936 is not even available in the website. If they taken it out, then I'm out and picking a different service. Not even a notice or email notification. Wow, just wow

8936 is no longer on the doc list, but it's also not on the unsupported list. What's going on?
