Stock Invstments go to zero in prior year

Looked in my on line brokerage and discovered two stocks, held long term, went to zero in 2023.

They were not included in my brokerages year end statement so I did not know until now (Oct 2024).

Do I have to submit an amended return for 2023, Or can I report the zero values on 2024 Tax return?

Brokerage should be reporting them to you as worthless.
