For how many years does the Solar Energy Credit carry forward because on my taxes in 2023 they gave me a certain amount and they said a certain amount was going to get carry forward to my 2024 taxes but when I’m doing my taxes for 2024 that amount isn’t the amount that is stated on my 2023 tax return it’s less

Will the remaining amount be carried forward for next years tax return 2025?

Yes, the unused portion of your solar credit will be carried forward to 2025.

The solar tax credit can be carried forward for as long as it is in existence, which is presently available until 2034.
