You can enter the sales taxes paid for the 2 cars and see which method (sales tax vs.state income tax) gives you the larger deduction. Type 'sales tax' in the search box, then select the 'jump to' link.

Then try the 'EasyGuide' to enter the sales taxes paid for the cars. TurboTax will determine which method provides the greater benefit for you.
