Self Employed Hair Stylist - claiming mileage

I am a 1099-MISC hair stylist. I travel from home to salon everyday. I am confused what mileage I am able to deduct.  Can I deduct mileage to and from home to the salon? Or am I only able to deduct mileage if I go to clients house and I started from my home location or I can only deduct the mileage from the shop location starting point to the clients house?  And am I able to deduct mileage when I have to go pickup products that I will need in order to do my job? And do I log the starting point my home to the salon warehouses or do I have to start from the salon I work at then start recording my mileage to salon warehouse?

I don't want to overstate my mileage and I certainly do not want to under state my mileage.  I'm a bit confused.

Thank you in advance for the assistance.

Self Employed Hair Stylist - claiming mileage

If you have a regular work location where you work most of the time, mileage to your regular work location is never deductible.  It's considered commuting.  Mileage to other temporary work locations is deductible, as would be mileage to pick up supplies.
