RV as a rental - what can be depreciated

I have a client that purchased a RV to rent out but also use personally.  He had a Hitch installed on his truck for the fifth wheel? My question is the hitch a depreciating item or just a normal expense

RV as a rental - what can be depreciated

If the truck is part of the rental property, then the hitch would be a deductible rental expense (if under $2,500). Or if the hitch was installed on the trailer/camper. it would be a deductible rental expense. But if the truck is personal property and not rented with the trailer/camper, the hitch is a personal expense and not deductible.
