recently my 2014 tesla model s was a complete loss insurance paid it off i can't get another tesla this year my question is can I use ev credit in jan 1st of new year

I went to a dealer ship and said I couldn't use ev down payment because I already use it for 2024 which screws me over but can I get another ev as soon as 2025 hits 🤔 and do I still have to file my tax with that vechile if insurance already paid it off.
