I put in information about my HSA health plan that I get through work, which my wife and kids are covered by. It then asks this question and asks if it is a family, self, or none. Research I did in the chat indicates I would say none here since she was under mine and did not have her own.

Yes, your research is correct.  Unless your spouse has High Deductible Health Plan coverage in her own name, then you would choose None.
