Asks if I have self or family HDHP. I have HDHP for myself & kids but husband has own non-HDHP coverage. Do I list family or self or answer family for me & none for him?

Do you and your spouse both have a HSA? For your HSA, HDHP is family. For spouse's HSA, HDHP is none.

Since your HDHP coverage is for you and at least one other person (your kids), you would enter that you have family coverage.

Since your husband has non-HDHP coverage, enter none for his coverage.

What if the None box for the spouse won't stay selected?

On Form 8962 the tax family size says 4 instead of 3 (Dad and 2 kids). Does that inflate the Premium Tax Credit for the Marketplace Insurance meaning we are taking a larger credit because only 3 individuals were covered by that insurance but it thinks 4 should be counted?
