Charitable contribution carryover

I have about 75K carryover charitable contributions from 2018. I itemized deductions in 2018. Can I carryover 20K this year and spread the rest of 55K to next 3 to 4 years

You have no choice in the matter ... you must carry the entire amount to the 2019 return and the program will compute how much you can use this year and how much you have left  to carry to 2020.
