amending return

I have followed directions given by TurboTax for amending my 2018 filing. Im was told to make the changes on the original fi8le after statingf i was aaaaaamending the file and when i finished it would show then chahges on a 1040-x form which is required. I have done this but when i mark done it shows no changes and doesnt bring up thr 1040-x.

What now? I askeed for online help but never got a number to call (3 times)

The 1040x is the amended tax return for the original 1040 filed. It shows your original numbers in column A, the changes in B, and the corrected numbers in column C.

 You can fill this form out for someone to call you. Wait until next Wednesday as you will not get help before then due to the filing deadline for this year.
