We usually pay property taxes directly to the county and receive a receipt. However, we refinanced in December and rolled taxes and insurance into loan through escrow, and taxes and insurance were paid from bank. We have not received any receipt. Do we still get to deduct property taxes? I know the amount paid through the note on the loan.
