Property taxes don't add up to maximum?

I entered mu property taxes which amounted to about $6700. TurboTax said I was maxed out to the 10,000 limit?

Property taxes don't add up to maximum?

The $10,000 limit applies to both of your state and local income taxes and property taxes combined.  So, when combining those two items, it appears you are over the $10,000 maximum.
