Previous residence that had an yearly HOA fee filed Bankruptcy and each homeowner was accesses fees. Can I deduct this fee?
HOA fees for your residence are not deductible, even if they were assessed as a result of the HOA bankruptcy.
If these HOA fees were for a rental home, they are deductible as a rental expense.

HOA fees for your residence are not deductible, even if they were assessed as a result of the HOA bankruptcy.
