Our front yard was sold in a Right of Way Deed and contained a tree line, fence, gates, etc. Not sure how to calculate adjusted basis. Any advice will help!

If you receive a 1099-S for the sale, follow this below to report a $0 gain. Either way, reduce your basis in the entire property by the proceeds of the easement sale. Please feel free to post any additional details or questions in the comment section.
