Other Gross Income form 2555

I worked in Germany all of 2022. I'm trying to get the FTC for my taxes paid in Germany. Looking at the FTC section, it says "Do not enter income already reported in ... Form 2555".  However, I do not know what was reported in Form 2555 (only TT knows that!). I do know that if I leave it blank, I get $0 FTC from my DE wages/taxes... and if I do put the Wages here, I get an FTC. But I'm not sure if this is correct...

Form 2555 reports Foreign earned income to claim the Foreign Earned Income exclusion (up to $112,000 for tax year 2022).

If you have elected to claim the exclusion, do not reenter them in the FTC section. If you have claimed the exclusion and your wages are more than $112,000, then only enter the balance in the FTC section together with the corresponding Foreign tax paid or accrued.

Thanks! And I guess it can be more with the Housing Credit? Because TT says:

"Congratulations for Foreign Earned Income and housing exclusion is: $126,444"

So, then need to take my foreign wages and subtract ($126,444) and enter that balance into the FTC section...

Sound correct? thx again!
