When i run the smart check tool i get an error

I selected C, but my loan was marked as a refinance loan.

When you say you entered the loan as a new loan, what entry did you make to indicate that it is a new loan? There is a couple of boxes on the points page for a New Loan. Did you check either of these? New loans are ones originating in 2023. Your loan originated in 2022.
Hi zomboo,
Thanks for the response. There was nothing to select, i had to click on "Add a Lender" and add my 1098.
I am trying to figure out what entries you made you could have made that would cause this. One would be you selected 'This loan was paid off or refinanced in 2023'. Another thing would be that you selected 'Not the latest 1098' on the 'Tell us about your loan' page.
Hi zomboo,
This was imported. I didn't see option "This loan was paid off or refinanced in 2023". I did see option "Not the latest 1098", for this option i selected this is the latest 1098 form.
Thanks.
If the new loan was not sold or refinanced, answer "No Entry" to the refinance question.
Also, if you received only one 1098, the answer to the most recent question would be Yes (this is the most recent).
If the "no entry: answer doesn't resolve the SmartCheck message, you'll need to review the entries for Form 1098 to be sure you agree with the information that was imported. As zomboo mentioned, one odd answer or entry can cause the form error.
