My current employer required me to move from Florida to Texas during 2018 and the expenses were not reimbursed. Can I deduct these expenses?

No. Under the new tax law, moving expenses are not deductible for 2018 through 2025. (There is an exception for a military permanent change of station.)

Note that if your employer did reimburse you for moving expenses, the reimbursement would be taxable income to you. There is simply no tax benefit for moving expenses for 2018 through 2025.
