Mom lives with us and helps baby sit

My mom lives with me, my wife and our baby. My mom babysits our baby. I pay for all of her living expenses and give her some money each month (less than 10,000 annually). In Turbotax, I added my mom as a dependent and am now at the child care credit deduction phase where it's asking me how much I spent on child care and who provided it. I entered in my mom's SSN but it's giving me an error that the child care provider's (my mom) SSN cannot be the same as the SSN of one of my dependents (also my mom). Am I only allowed to either claim her as my dependent OR enter her as my child care provider? Is there typically a more advantageous choice?

You can’t get credit for Mom babysitting if Mom is a dependent. So do you want the child care deduction or your Mom as a dependent. Paying her will require that she report the income as self employment income on her tax return as well as self employment taxes.
Will that income level affect any benefits she may be receiving? It could cause her social security payments to be taxable up to 85%.
figure it both ways to see what works best.
