Medical deductions

Has anyone else had difficulty entering amount in medical deduction field? I cannot enter any amounts.

Try using  a different internet browser, such as Chrome.

Also note that the individual Medical fields are only for your use, as just the total ends up on your tax return. You can add them up manually and make a single entry.

I suggest that you save what you have,

• close the program,
• Clear Cache & Cookies.
• Re-enter TurboTax
• Try to post the Medical deductions again

Please note that medical deductions have a benchmark of 7.5% above your AGI.  TurboTax gives you this guidance as you first enter the medical expense area. 

If all of your income was not entered before you started the deduction area; that calculation would have been incorrect.
