Is there something wrong with the 2022 Dependent Care Credit entry under Tax Breaks? I am trying to add my expenses but the site will not allow me.

I've answered YES to "Did you pay for child and dependent care in 2022?" and then selected all the boxes for the 'About Your Family' section. Then, when selecting continue it just brings be back to the Tax Break main page.

I am not sure that I follow your navigation. What boxes did you select? It surely wasn't all of them.

In any case, your situation of suddenly being returned to the Tax Breaks page sounds like you did not enter earned income for either you or your spouse. If you enter the Child and Dependent Care section before entering earned income for both spouses, TurboTax assumes that one spouse was either a full-time student or disabled.

If you don't check one or the other for the non-working spouse, then TurboTax realizes that you are not eligible for the Child and Dependent Care exclusion and/or credit, and returns you without comment to the Tax Breaks page to continue.

This can happen if you have entered your W-2(s) but accidently assigned both (all) to the same spouse, which is easy to do. Let us know if this make sense or if we need to make more suggestions on how to address this.
