Is my yearly deductible for my health insurance considered a medical expense that I can use as a deduction?

You can only claim as Medical Expenses the actual amount of deductible (or co-pay) that you paid during the year, and not the yearly deductible shown on your health insurance policy.

You can only claim as Medical Expenses the actual amount of deductible (or co-pay) that you paid during the year, and not the yearly deductible shown on your health insurance policy.
