IRS Recovery Rebate for rounds 1 and 2 missing

I am missing rounds 1 and 2 for the rebate on a baby who was born in 2019. How would I go about getting that handled. I followed the advice on TurboTax but the refund never came, please advise on how to get the refund.

Jdwerd21,

In that case, you will want to contact the IRS to find out why the refund was not sent. They will not release this information to anyone but the taxpayer, for privacy reasons.

You can call the IRS at 800-829-1040. I recommend calling right at 7 AM when they open, or close to 7 PM when they close, for the best chance of reaching a person with less wait time. Good luck!

IRS Recovery Rebate for rounds 1 and 2 missing

Hi Jdwerd21,

If you did not receive the round 1 & 2 stimulus, you would have claimed the Recovery Rebate credit on your 2020 tax return. Have you filed your 2020 return yet? If you did, what happened?

I did file this 2020 but I didn't receive it from my tax refund.
