Hello,
I had a 401k in the beginning of the year which was rolled over into an IRA. Can I deduct contributions made to an IRA later in the year when I no longer had a 401k or am I not eligible since I had one at some point during the year? Was trying to uncheck line 10 on the IRA worksheet but was unable to.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you had an employer retirement plan at any time you are considered to have had it all year.
It's possible, but whether its deductible depends on your filing status and your modified adjusted gross income.
