Are you asking if you can deduct the registration fee on your taxes?  Yes you can.

Follow these directions:

  1. With your return open, search for car registration inside your program.
  2. Select the Jump to link at the top of your search results.
  3. Answer Yes to Did you pay any car registration fees in 2022? and then enter them on the next screen.

your taxes? if you are married on 12/31/2022, why aren't you filing jointly for 2022? joint is one return for both and the taxes would normally be less than each filing married separately. lWhat expenses regarding the vehicle are you asking about. interest on a personal vehicle is not deductible (maybe ok for state). registration fees are only deductible if they're based on the value of the vehicle.
